APL TAIPEI Day 9: Main Event Final Table Set! ()

The APL TAIPEI, held at the Asia Poker Arena, the center of poker tournaments in Taipei, Taiwan, has only one day remaining in its 10-day schedule. On June 15th, Day 9 of the event, the finalists for the APL Main Event were determined, and several side events such as the Mini Main Event and High Roller Hyper Turbo also took place.
The #31 APL Main Event kicked off Day 3 at 12 PM with 32 players. After approximately seven hours of play, the final nine players who advanced to the final table were confirmed.
Among the nine finalists, five are Korean players: Ha Seongmin, Jung Seunghyuk, Park Gwanghee, Lee Chung, and Lee Hyeondong. Notably, Ha Seongmin advanced to the final table as the chip leader with a stack of 11.675 million chips.

Korean players enjoyed a series of victories on this day. First, the #53 Mini Main Event, held over two days starting June 14th, attracted a total of 798 entries, making it the second-largest event of the series. In this event, Yang Sangwon defeated Kim Siwoong in heads-up play to claim the championship.
Yang Sangwon earned a winner’s prize of NT$1,912,768 and a trophy.
Additionally, in the #61 KMGM Royal Road event, held in collaboration with Korea’s largest holdem pub franchise KMGM, Kim Changjun took first place, winning NT$426,776 and a trophy.
In the #64 Hyper Turbo III event, Kim Eunsook won NT$102,561 and a trophy. In the #65 Late Night Madness IX event, Son Seongwoo claimed the title, winning NT$85,135 and a trophy.
Players from Singapore and Hong Kong also captured titles. In the #63 High Roller Turbo event, Kim Wah Chiu from Singapore secured the victory, earning NT$1,078,560 and a trophy. In the #62 9 Game event, Tse Chi Ho Kem from Hong Kong won NT$51,264 and a trophy.
The final multi-day event of the series, the #60 Micro Main Event, also began on this day. The event held three flights at 11 AM, 4 PM, and 8 PM, attracting a total of 411 entries and keeping the excitement alive through the series’ conclusion.
Day 2 of the Micro Main Event began at 11 AM with 62 players and will continue until a winner is crowned.
