APL TAIPEI Day 3: Two Trophy Winners Crowned ()

APL TAIPEI, held at the Asia Poker Arena in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, has progressed through its third day. On Day 3, the second trophy winner of the series was crowned.
The winner was player Hyunsup Kim (Dipper). Starting at 12 PM local time, Hyunsup Kim won the #17 High Roller Single Day III event, claiming the series' second trophy and earning his third APL trophy overall.
The High Roller Single Day III event, in which Hyunsup Kim took first place, recorded 18 entries and accumulated a prize pool of NT$622,080. With payouts awarded up to 4th place, Hyunsup Kim triumphed over fellow Korean player Uichang Kim in heads-up play, taking home the champion’s prize of NT$273,780 along with the trophy.
Following Hyunsup Kim's victory, another win for a Korean player was recorded. In the #21 NLH Turbo II event, player Kyungbeom Kim defeated Taiwanese player Kuo Wei Chun in the final heads-up match, securing NT$121,286 in prize money and a trophy.
The first major event of the day, the #1 APL Kick Off Event Day 2, was also completed and a champion was determined. This event recorded a total of 505 entries, resulting in a final prize pool of NT$4,314,720.
In this event, Taiwanese player Chiachi Li defeated fellow Taiwanese player Chiahong Tsui in the final heads-up match, winning NT$670,220 and a trophy.
In addition, the second major event, the #16 Mystery Bounty event, kicked off. Day 1 was held across two flights: Day 1A, which started at 11 AM, recorded 117 entries including players like Junhyung Ki and Seungmin Yoo; Day 1B, which started at 5 PM, recorded 66 entries.
With 15% of each flight’s field advancing to Day 2, 18 players from Day 1A and 10 players from Day 1B secured their spots for Day 2, which will begin at 11 AM on June 11.
In the #18 Win The Button event, Macau player Iat Man Leong claimed victory, earning NT$79,934 and a trophy. In the #22 High Roller Hyper Turbo II event, Taiwanese player Shun Yi Zheng won NT$127,796 and a trophy.
In the #19 Pot Limit Omaha Hi 4 Cards Bombpot Double Board event, Hong Kong’s Kaiheng Li took first place, winning NT$59,975 and a trophy, while in the #20 Limit Trioke Stud event, Taiwanese player Chihpping Yu claimed the trophy and NT$55,540. In the Late Night Madness III event, Taiwanese player Chiru Lin earned NT$57,393 and a trophy.
On June 10, the fourth day of the series, Day 1C and Day 1D of the Mystery Bounty will be held, along with events such as the High Roller Single Day and Charity events.
